              HANGING
                COLLECTIONS:  When deciding
whether to use the ceiling or the floor as the beginning point
for measuring, first determine which plane will be the most prominent
                in your visual field,
as often the two will not be parallel.
                This is usually the ceiling.
Hang the center art piece first
and build the rest of the grouping around it.
              PICTURES:
Hanging pictures can be tricky. Either line up the bottoms or
                the tops of pictures
of unequal sizes to create a strong horizontal.  Center a smaller picture beside a larger one
                to create a diagonal effect.
              PLATES:
When hanging collector plates, place masking tape on the back
                where the hanger will
                touch the plate.  This
keeps the hanger from scratching the plate.
              FAVORITE
                ACCESSORIES:  The new “less
than real” flora is really great, especially the new varieties

                of grasses, succulents and berries.
Mix fruits and vegetables in with foliage and flowers for
                a
taste of the unexpected.  Coconuts remain high on my list because of
                their great texture, size,
                and depth of color.
              Remember:
Varying plant heights within arrangements creates drama and gives
                extra depth.
Varying leaf sizes in plants used throughout your home creates
                increased interest.

                Creating
                surroundings that are uniquely yours
in just
                one day!
